The Asian Cultural Festival of San Diego will be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2017, at the Mira Mesa Community Park!
During this free, fun, family friendly, festive event, there will be martial arts, ethnic dances, cultural exhibitions, entertainment, games, and of course, food! Event will take place from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm! This event is a pet friendly and smoking-free environment.
The Asian Cultural Festival is hosted and presented by the National Asian American Coalition and produced by Silk Road Productions.
Meet Kim Chee-kin, the ACF mascot from our eighth annual event! He is inspired by the Year of the Rooster and designed by Natasha Gemine.
This Year’s Honorary Chair
Audie deCastro is this year’s Honorary Chair of the Asian Cultural Festival! In 2014, Mr. de Castro was appointed by the Philippine government to serve as the Philippine Honorary Consul of San Diego County, where nearly 200,000 Filipino-Americans reside. As an official consul, he facilitates and promotes diplomacy, trade and tourism between San Diego and the Philippines. Audie de Castro has 17 years of legal experience in both transactional law and litigation. He started his career working on high stakes estate and trust litigation for a boutique firm in San Francisco.
Previous ACF Honorary Chairs have included significant community leaders such as Dr. Lily Cheng (2012), Sally Wong-Avery (2013), Mayor Kevin Faulconer (2014), and co-chairs former City Councilman Tom Hom and City Councilman Chris Cate (2015).
